Go to the top of this page and go to Phil's power wagon archive.
When there, hit the link for searching the archives, and then type in "southern power wagon rally". I bet you will get some hits as if I recall there have been a few rallies in central Georgia.
I have not been to any rallies there, but spent 4 years in Athens at UGA there in the 70's. Very enjoyable place.
