...put in there. Seems to run great. Just changed to a Pertronix ignition, and the points were well worn. From the look of the homemade (but effective) engine mounts, it replaced a 251 flathead, which is *not* an engine I would want on that truck.

The 318 makes enough power that the truck is very drivable now that the usual "parked truck" electric, carb, and vacuum issues are ironed out.
