1. The body looks original, unmolested, military, and not Dodge. Side shot is certainly NOT a VC or WC Carryall, though similar looking

Only things I can think of are that this is the body of a contemporary Chevrolet or International Carryall, both of which were produced as 4 x 2 trucks for Uncle Sam. It might be dropped on a WC frame and running gear, or maybe someone just swapped the grille, but either way it needs checked up on as even if it is just a shell it is quite rare.
Fred Crismon's excellent "U.S. Military Wheeled Vehicles" has shots of the Chevrolet and International versions, but don't have it with me.
