When you look at the steering knuckles on a WC/PW/M37, they look very much the same as the Dana 70 knuckle on my W300. I am not saying parts are interchangeable. But the Dana 70 knuckle uses a Neoprene seal like our PW's have the felt. The Neoprene is also backed up with a felt seal. WHen I get some breathing time, I want to take a NOS felt hub seal, and use it as a pattern for a Neoprene seal. That will totally seal the ball joint. Just a idea, that is not to hard to implement for a test.
