Remarkably, the Defender vehicles are very similar to the original Series vehicles. They are solid axle, aluminum body, diesel engine with manual transmission.
I will be driving this vehicle, everyday, as my daily driver. I welcome the refinement (although it is not too much) of the Defender.
I do have an intention to buy an older Land Rover to tinker with once we get settled.
