Mine seeped oil out of the dipstick. Engine ran and idled great. We did a leak down test. With the leak down rig you can presurize the cylinder and check if it is leaking. If it is you can then check where it comes out to determine the flaw. I had decent scores in the cylinder walls on every cylinder. Again, it still ran good!
I solved the problem with a complete rebuild. Hope you have some other cause.
