Master Cylinder Rebuild part question

OK, I know I'm jumping around, but I work on one thing until either I wait on parts or it gets me flustered, so I'm back to the brakes.

I've got the brake re-built Kit (NAPA Part Number 1), and there is one part in the kit that was not in my MC when I pulled it apart. It's a donut like rubber washer. I would assume it goes behind the metal domed strainer, but not sure. Anyone with an illustration on how it goes together?
