Thanks, I saw that spout on Burlington Vt News a few nights ago. The concept to block bacteria makes sense. I am not sure I believe 50 - 90 % more sap. You would have to install them on the entire Bush, then measure sap volume compared to past years.
I am sure we will read results after the coming sugar season, spring 2010.
