You're probably right, but I don't play the banjo myself so I don't pay much attention. Frailing is like strumming, right? I think that's what she was doing. She's only been playing it for about a year and is trying to learn a few songs just well enough to play in a band for dances, definitely not trying to sound like Bill Monroe or Flatt & Scruggs. It's still a nice sound to hear out in the country on a beautiful summer day while I'm working on my various projects.
