You mention, No End Date on offers. If I have the funding to purchase a truck, I make a offer and then sit and wait and wait. I want a truck, I want to get busy on it. I call the seller, he says he is waiting for more offers. A few weeks pass and I call the seller again, he is still waiting for more offers.
I just find and buy another truck, as most guys would do after getting the "waiting for more offers". Now, the sellers prospective buyers are gone, the seller is still waiting for more offers. The seller has lost.
Nope !, I would not want to make a offer. If I did, it would be very very low, hopefully to get the seller to come back with his actual asking price.
