I've checked the battery cables + and -. Equal voltage at all points.
I haven't checked the main engine ground.
I'll check the "red" wire. Guess that goes into the main plug in the center? At one point I could have gotten the small disconect on the drives side wrong because they are individual wires but I have them hooked up so yellow outside goes to yellow inside etc so I think it is right. Besides that came about later down stream during troubleshooting.
