Is the fuel transfer pump the same as the low pressure fuel pump? Going by your mileage, it's about time for it to go. I have had trucks that I have had to replace them twice within 120,000 miles and the last one I had has 180,000 and it hasn't been replaced yet.
Not sure if it will be covered by the warranty or not but should be.
