I've made some progress on my new bus in the past few weeks. I removed the plywood paneling someone put on the inside. It appears that the original sheet metal trim is missing above and below the side windows. I found a guy in Fresno that may have the parts though. He does have the two side windows that have been blanked out, so that's good news.
I also removed the lengths of angle iron someone welded in above the side rain gutters. I was afraid there was going to be some bad rust underneath, and that was the case. I'm going to have to weld in about 3-4" of new sheet metals above the windows. At least that should stop the rot from spreading farther.
