Although I never ever recommend anyone do anything they're not qualified to do...
In converting my D300 to W300...I had to cut, weld & bend the pitman arm, drag link & steering arm. I won't lose any sleep :)
If it breaks....Well...it never will so there's no sense discussing it any further :)
