Glad you got to drive it, and happy you don't have to run it in 4wd all the time. ;-) The wobble sounds like the rear axle bearings either chopped out or need adjustment. The locking washer tab might have fallen off or not been bent over. If the bearing siezes it will sometimes force the lock nuts to turn and shear off the lock washer tab/s, so on the left side the hub gets loose. Better pull it down and check/service and hope it doesn't happen on the right side.
