You need a geo thermal unit. I have an open loop system in my house that I've had for 19 years. It can heat and cool your shop with no problem. Just discharge the water to a drain for an open loop. A good HVAC company can help save you money and aggravation. What type of construction is the building, pole barn, metal, conventional? A well insulated building is always better than one that insn't.
