I'm current using a vac under the floor. But I have concerns about water and dust getting into it.
Every time the pedal is pushed on a vac boost system, air gets sucked in. That is why the fire-wall mounted systems make a woosh noise under the dash. It is that inrushing air that that pushes against the vacuum side of the diaphragm, making the boost. Dodge put that filter/muffler in the cab of their under-floor vac systems to keep water and dirt out. I believe this is why Ray stopped selling his under floor vacuum booster kit.
I wonder if there would be room in the later FFPW under floor system for a hydroboost? Access the fluid in the master under the seat? Hmm, maybe after I extend my cab I'll have even more access... I wonder how much Napa charges for hydraulic hoses by the mile?
