The short bed is too short, and wrong width, fenders would not line up width wise with running boards.
A long bed might work, though I would still need to cut it down off the front. But it would be 3" longer to the rear than a cut down FFPW bed. They do turn up in the local dismantlers, time to time. Maybe Ill tout them when the time comes. And I used to see a utility trailer, might be time to go knock on his door?
More work to restore another bed, in the hopes of netting $$$, and not cutting down the rarer early 2nd series that I have....
