You will find that on all fuel pumps. Some have that spot and others dont. I think the double action is the other side is for the wipers. I have seen that on other cars and trucks. If you want to have it rebuild I have a place that just did one for me on a 57 Merc double action. Nice work. In NY state. Bill.
