Yep, the body's from the cowl back are nearly identical, the space below the doors is a couple inches longer, and the rear inner fenders are slightly different as well.
Mine has the indentation on the firewall for the larger motor (where as the 3/4 ton has a flat firewall - if memory serves).
I wish the one i found was a 3/4ton, it would save me from having to remount the body on a 4x4 frame.
