Yeap, thats the same hose I used on my (EX) 1960 W300 a few weeks age when doing a full brake job Napa 380002 19.5" long the ends are the same, both take a 5/8" jam nut and a 1/4 inch brake line threads in to each end which it a 7/16 thread.
I went to Napa, and they looked it up in the books and computer and both said NA. I called a Car Quest and they said the same thing NA. I went back into Napa and had the guy looked in a book that was about 6"-8" thick and he found one that had the same ends and it was the 380002.
Not that this matter's to you, but that hose is 19.5" long and the one I pulled off of my 1960 W300 was only 17.5" long. But the 380002 was the only one in the book that had the same ends on each end.
We thought that maybe someone swapped out the hoses over the years becasue the right ones were NA, so before I ordered the 380002 I drove out to the house and checked my 4 other 1960 W300's and they all had the 17.5" hose.
So since I was on a mission I went and checked my 1958 and 1959 W300 collection that is when I learned something new about the 1958-1960 W300 PG's.
The 1958's and 1959's have a longer brake hose then the 1960's do. The 58/59's hose is 20.5" long instead of 17.5" long like the 1960 W300's. Why becasue the 58/59's the bracket that the hose bolts into on top of the streeing knuckle is shorter on the 58/59's then it is on the 60 W300's. So the brake hose needs to be longer.
I didn't have time or was un-able to find someone that had the 17.5" hose. So I bought the 19.5" hose and figured that a two inch longer hose would be better then a two inch shorter hose, when it comes to hoses!?
Thats interesting that it is for a 1960's W500.
Now all I have to do is find someone that can get me the right 17.5" hose for my other four 1960 W300's???
