You're happy with the truck, the seller's happy with the money, that's what matters. Hope to see some pictures at some point. I like "mostly original" myself. Not a lot of forests to service around Elko as I recall, and definitely not much rain. Unless it sank into the salt mud of some playa and got sand-blasted by desert winds, the body should be real good, which is what matters. I've seen more good unrestored old trucks, mostly PWs, CCKWs, and M-series in Nevada than anywhere else. The desert air preserves them and thee lack of trees makes them visible. On the other hand a lot of surplus trucks ended up in the hands of low-budget miners and prospectors and got beat all to heck, or hacked up into yard cranes, stationary power plants, and other creative uses.
