They need adjustment every few hundred miles of stop and go driving. Lots of wear initially to freshly ground shoes too.
DO NOT re-adjust the lower eccentrics. Only do those when shoes are replaced. From then on, the shoe pivot remains the same, all wear is adjusted by the upper 'snails'. Moving the lower pivot will cause heal or toe contact, making the shoes grab.
