Both my Bumblebee and Carryall with B3.9 power have the 11 leaf with 1.0" extra lift. Then when the springs arrived, my spring shop added 3 more leafs for the Cummins weight.
My M37 with B3.9 power has NOS front and rears, with the front springs also having 3 additional leafs added. Look at my M37 Bandit album in Image Event to see location of the 3 extra spring leafs. This location was also used on the Bumblebee and Carryall.
The 3 extra leafs were arched to the existing spring paks. They were not for more lift, just more capacity
Stevens springs are designed for stock PW's, the Cummins mandated the extra 3 leafs. I am very pleased both with ride quality, stability and no spring sag whatsoever.
The spring paks on my 1960, PG W300 are very robust and carry the B3.9 with no additional leafs required.
