Door glass question

When I took apart the doors on our '49 FFPW, I noticed the driver's door glass was narrower but taller than the passenger's door glass. I thought someone cut them incorrectly. When I ordered new glass, they came in two different sizes that matched the originals. These doors have vent windows. Why the difference?
