Before there was Helitool, there was Tim Peterson. He is the original producer of the disc brake conversion.
I bought Tim's WC52 with four wheel disc brakes when he got out of the disc brake conversion kit business. A major reason was that people he trusted to exchange the modified hubs did not send their old hubs in to him. Without hubs to modify, Tim couldn't make more brake kits.
The 1/2 ton on the home page of Gordon's Power Wagon Advertiser web site is Tim's truck. It has disc brakes on all four wheels.
Unlike 3/4 ton WC/PW/M37 where the brake drum and the hub are separate, on the 1/2 ton the brake drum and hub are one piece. The first brake job on my WC21 was a real learning experience since I did not have the 1/2 ton service manual.
I never got to inspect Tim's 1/2 ton closely, but the diagrams in the parts list and the manual suggest it would require a significant modification to the 1/2 ton hub in order to adapt a disc rotor.
Based on the picture, Tim's 1/2 ton has combat wheels which suggests that he may have used 3/4 ton axles with the "standard" disc brake conversion.
