... it is a Watson/Brown-Lipe made by Spicer "Model 41-M1. A "brownie", I think is the correct term. As I mentioned it seems properly installed, it is clearly not a factory install, and it bears the tag of a California truck equipment company that probably set up the chassis cab when it was new. It appears to have been in service as long as the truck as far as I can tell.
It is amazing how there is no corrosion at all on this thing. Never left the Antelope Valley apparently.
