Well, I made the 45 mile drive to the next town with a NAPA store and got the last one. The big ol 'Weatherhead" cabinet of brass parts was about 5% populated. I found 1 of the pieces I needed severak dwarers away from the proper spot. And for only $7.10!
The ~ 2.5" x 3/8" studs for the exhaust manifold are running $2.93 (each). They had 8 of the long ones but only 2 of the short ones.
Thanks, Paul for the thoughts on the proportioning valve. I'll call Jegs on the phone. As my system is plumbed w 1/4" lines, I did not see an advantage in changing. And after the exercise of trying to find what I consider the simplest parts ...
Damned little in the junkyards here. Somebody is buying them up wholesale; they're a dirty field in the space of 2 weeks.
