the diameter of the wheel has nothing to do with the diameter of the tire
9.00x16 hwy tread is 35.06 in
9.00x16 MS/NDT is 35.54
(dimensions from Tire & rim hand book)
only problem might be locating an original
hwy tread 9.00x16
