My wife & I have a 07 Charger Daytona Plum Crazy with about 28K miles at this point…not one problem yet. The Charger, Magnum & 300 all share the “LX” platform. Challenger is on “LC” platform, same vehicle just a few inches shorter. The only bad feedback I’ve heard at this point is that some of the My Gig radios randomly reset (power down & then reboot) do to software. Our car has a standard Sirius satellite radio with no problems. My wife was concerned the 5.7L would be hard on fuel until I explained to her how the MDS deactivated 4 cylinders under the right conditions. Around town mixed driving we get about 22MPG & on a recent trip to Maryland we averaged 26 MPG (seen 29MPG at 75 MPH on trip computer). She absolutely loves the vehicle & would be bummed if Government Motors forces us into becoming the United Hybrid States. If you can get a good deal on one I’d say it would be hard to go wrong. Do some research at lxforums.com and challengerforums(link below) P.S if your interested the 6 speed manual is available on RT now. Probably have to be ordered but who knows when the plants will be up & running again. Any questions?...shoot me an e-mail,
Sincerely,
Brian in Michigan.
