I got home last night from Hollister and Reno at about 7:30 and my wife said that Marty called. Man I can't even get home with his fenders and he calls. Got a hold of him and he said if I was in, someone may came and pick them up.
About 9:30 I get a call from Chris saying that he and CC (Crew Cab) Sammy would like to stop by and pick up the fenders. They showed up 20 min later with a truck full of 1st series bed parts and a 58 ffPW on a trailer. Nice PW. We talked for a while and had a nice visit. They spent the night as CC Sammy was really tired and they have a long drive ahead of them. They are on their way to Montana then Fairfield. So you guys will get two very tired but happy guys in a couple of days.
It was really nice that they stopped by. I have met Chris before but never CC Sammy. Both are great guys. It is nice to meet PW family from across the country. I still remember a couple of couple of years ago when I met Jill and got to see Purple People Eater on my way to Indianapolis. Jill I still remember that bullfrog spa. It sure was great after all the driving I had done.
