i believe that you could completely restore a power wagon without ever calling VPW it that was your desire. They are a good resource and i have used them many times. since my dodges are military, i have met many guys out there that can get me what i need for my trucks. i mainly call on john bizal but have dealt with bob stahl, the late great dave anwell, dave cirillo, george manieri, ab linn, mike scholer in florida and a lot of other smaller guys. for one stop shopping vpw has mostly anything you need. for the thrill of the hunt, you cant go wrong finding the small guys. when i lived in london, i rented a car and went to beltring. i got TONS of stuff for my command car. it was before 9/11 and i went through airport security with a full set of nos gauges in my napsack!!! wish i could have brought home the $10,000 scout car that was is good running shape. the seller told me as much as he wanted to buy it, i couldnt reimport it into the US. Go figure.
i will be buying my canvas this fall from a vendor i met in Beltring.
