Difference Between 1946 WDX and Later Models?

Can anyone summarize the major (and minor?) differences between the early WDXs and the later (1948-on B-1, B-2, etc) PWs? Drivetrain, winch, body, interior? I went to the "Notable Changes" under "Model Year Detail", but everything begins with 1949. Any help is greatly appreciated.
