Yes, definitely! I ran those on my '63 with fantastic results.
Regarding tubes, BE SURE you get truck radial tubes with brass 90 degree stems and be sure you use flaps.
Non-radial tubes will not survive.
Mount the tires so when viewed from the front, the tread block pattern looks like smiles, not frowns.
You'll never regret switching.
Oh, and you don't need another spring leaf in the front. My M-37 even had a V-8 engine and front winch and didn't need any help for the springs.
