I'm planning on it for a 48 B1PW but haven't done it yet. I did it for a M37 which worked great but that's got different steering. I'm going to use the same little black thin tall Saginaw pump. I think the best place for the gear is in front approx. where the left front shock mount is, turning the drag link around 180 degrees. A guy in Nebraska at shanb@navix.net did it, but I think he put it inside the frame, in front of the crossmember, where I'm talking about. Either place is a pretty straight shot with the input (a couple of u-joints at low angles), and both require removal or relocation of the shock. Off the top of my head I'd say a spring shackle plate for the passenger, flipped arount 180 deg., would take care of mounting a front shock on the bottom; perhaps the top backet could just be moved.
