Years ago I bought a winch of a M-37 for installation on a M43 Cdn radio truck..... a bargained for a low price with the condition that I would remove it myself......
The donor M37 had been used for laying out telephone lines but had a regular PU bed with mods...... as part of the deal I removed the spot light that was mounted on the windshield pillar ... it's 24 volts with a switch .... the yolk is a cast iron with a two bolt hole base... on the donor truck two bolts had been welded on the windshield pillar so I copied the installation........ for safety in the bush I keep it removed and stored under the seat with a long connecting wire...........
In case what I have is some older model ....where would I look for the "Guide" makers mark?
Thanks Bob C.
