Hypothetical Hemi / Poly question

My 57 W-100 has the 315 Poly. I am told that a 315 Poly can be converted to a Hemi with the Hemi heads etc. So Here is the question. What would happen if it was converted on one side but not the other?
A Semi Hemi!
No, I am not considering it and I know when you ask a hypothetical question you get hypothetical answers!
