Gauges vary by lots. so the psi is not the critical point. The variation is the important thing. Fife @ 95, and one @70 meant that low one is bad.
But before I ever do comp test, I unhook the coil wire and do a "cranking rhythm test". Just crank it, it should go- wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-.
If you hear it go wa-wa-wa-umm-wa-wa-, the umm is a weak hole. You can heare an insignificant difference, 5psi?. No wories.
Nowadays, they do that test via computer. Computers? We don't need no stinking computers- except to acesss this site!
