The Power Wagon engine is tax at 25.3 horse power based on the Automobile Manufacturers Association (A.M.A.) formula. AMA horsepower rating was the figure states used to determine vehicle tax and tag cost. It was calculated by the diameter of a single cylinder squared times the number of cylinders divided by 2.5 (AMAhp=Dē*n/2.5). Dyno testing, brake testing will determine an engines actual capability.
