That's my '53, 230cid. Headers, and intake, but a B&B carb. The carb is too small, so I went to a 2bbl, for more hp. Runs better, but I haven't had it dyno'd again since.
Basically, you only can measure torque. Horsepower is calculated, with rpms. The latest dyno is just a 4,000 pound steel drum, with an electronic tach. It only measures acceleration, then computes torque- and hp.
