A hard hat saved my skull one day in the hole on a log ship. Middle of summer, no one wears a hard hat in the hole on a log ship in the middle of summer(this was back in the 80s). I had just climbed down the ladder and had to unhook the gear and hadn't had time to take it off. Thank you Jesus.
