In the picture is the Braden LU_4 Winch. This is the only correct winch for the M37. Note in the Yellow Circle is the left side mount bracket. The right side of the winch has the same type mount bracket. The winch sits between the frame rails and the mount brackets sit on top of the winch frame rail extensions.
If your winch does not look like this one, you dont have the correct winch. If your winch looks like this, then you may have two problems. Either bent frame rails or the winch was not assembled properly. The winch can be assembled wrong, not allowing it to all slide together to the right distance. Then it will not fit between the frame rails.
