These 2 things I know, but I've never owned a Husky saw.
I am working part time on a 30 acre timber thinning operation. I am a one man show, and my Stihl 041AV super has done everything I needed it to. I have a 20" bar on it, which in nice as you dont have to bend 1/2 way over when cutting the logs into rounds. It's a bit big for limbing the downed trees, so I just use a sharp falling axe with a Bangor head to knock off the limbs. My backup saw is a older pioneer "farmsaw". Same size as the stihl 041. Works great but spare parts are not readily available. It may get retired to the antique collection.
I'd go to your local saw shop and see if they have any used Stihl's, and use the money you save on a good set of chainsaw proof chaps and steel toed boots. The helmet -shield-earmuff combo setup looks nice too. I just have a old logger helmet, safety glasses, and earplugs.
