As far as I know, most of the sizes we need are no longer made, so the best you can do is find some NOS surplus ones. I tracked down the manufacturer, West Coast Lockwasher once and talked to them about ordering all the sizes used on an M37. Even though their catalog listed all the standard sizes, I don't believe they stocked any of them, so every order would have to be large enough to justify a production run. I was still willing to try that, figuring I could easily sell them if I had an order made, but then it turned out that with some of the sizes I needed, they has scrapped the tooling and would only make them if I paid for new tooling. At that point, I decided it was a lost cause. Bottom line -- if you find any square lock washers anywhere, grab them, because they ain't makin' 'em no more.
