It is not the FORD dealer that is the problem. They are very good. It is the other dealers I have delt with in the past.
The service person at the FORD dealer does as you said. However, he is very technical and understands what is going on. I was having turbo issues on my diesel. He explained exactly why I was having the issues and what the repair was and what design changes were made in the new turbo and why. He has always let his mechanics do their job and he does his customer stuff very well but he knows his products technically. He can explain the issues and solutions with clairity unlike many in that same positions at other dealers that I have run into.
