Is that the truck that you thought may have had the cab swapped out with an older one?

My '51 serial number 83922623 has the early gauges, fuel sending unit, etc. It was ordered as a cab chassis, but it also came equipped with first series fenders, first series tail light bracket, and the first series spare tire mount, all of which hint that it would have been equipped with the first series bed if it had been ordered as an express model.
