A few years ago I contacted Michelin about their availability. I was told by the representative that Michelin did not make them in that size anymore for sale in the U.S.
I saw on the web back then that they were still listed on the Michelin site for Great Britain. I have no idea if Michelin allows people to order them overseas and have them shipped; at any rate it would be very expensive.
What I took out of my experience was that no "new" 9X16's are coming onto the market.
