Well, not specifically your seats. However, I used Ford Explorer 6 way power seats in my Carryall and M37. There was 2 wires coming from the seat. One wire was ground, the other 12 volts. If they were reversed the seat would operate in the wring directions.

I wonder if your three wires are;
Ground
Power Seat 12 volts
Seat Heater or Power Lumbar 12 volts
