99% of the time with MIG you can run E70S6 wire and get decent results, presuming you can weld.
The deposit will actually be an alloy of the parent weldment and the MIG wire, and you can from time to time get a hard one. Generally 70 series wires will be softer and more machinable than 7018 or similar stick welds though.
Next time you do that job machine a carbon rod to the size of the hole, and use that to weld to. When things cool down you can knock the rod out in pieces and usually have a decent enough hole.
