There were a couple manufacturers, both companies that grew out of manufacturing for WW-2.
Easiest way to determine who made it is the spoils system. One used an augur and GoFor used a conveyor powered by a hydraulic motor.
Units were made for Jeep CJ models IH and Dodge. Too much machine for a jeep unless it dug only in sand.
None of the vehicle manufacturers offered trenchers as an option, but all manufacturers wholesaled vehicles to trencher manufacturers.
I can make somebody one hell of a deal on a 1957 CJ equipped with an operational GoFor Digger.
